1. Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test) – The Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test) shall consist of 02 Papers (each of 100 Marks & 02 Hours’ duration) consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each of 01 Mark. Paper – I – Law (100 Marks 02 Hours) Paper-II – English, General Knowledge & Awareness (100 Marks 02 Hours)
The language of the ‘Question Papers’ (I & II) of The preliminary Examination will be English.
Preliminary Examination Papers (Objective Type) shall be assessed/evaluated by the Computer, as per entries made on OMR Sheet. As the evaluation is being done on the Computer by Scanning, there is no human intervention and hence, queries relating to rechecking of the OMR Sheets, subsequent to the
Preliminary Examination, will not be entertained by the High Court. Paper – III: Test of Gujarati Language: (50 Marks – one and half hours) 2. Competitive Examination: A. Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type) –
The Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type) shall consist of Two Papers (each of 100 Marks & 03 Hours’ duration).
Paper – I (Criminal) – 100 Marks – 03 Hours.
Paper-II (Civil) – 100 Marks – 3 Hours. Paper Style for Main Written Examination –

Part: I (50 Marks): Answer to Questions, Short Notes, Fill in the blank, True or False, One word Answers to
Questions, Assertions/Reasons, Any Type of Questions.
Part: II (50 Marks): Judgment Writing.

Part: I (50 Marks): Answer to Questions, Short Notes, Fill in the blank, True or False, One-word Answers to Questions, Assertions/Reasons, Any Type of Questions

Language of the Question Papers of Main Written Examination shall be English, and Answers to each question shall be given in English, if not instructed otherwise.
The candidates who obtain a minimum of 50% Marks in the aggregate and a minimum of 40% Marks in each individual Paper in the Main Written Examination, shall be eligible for being called for Viva-voce Test (Interview). B. Viva-voce Test (Interview) – Vivavoce Test shall be of 50 Mark.
