Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level Exam 2021-22 Selection Process & Exam Pattern:

The Examination will be conducted in four tiers:
Tier-I: Computer Based Examination
Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
Tier-III: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
Tier-IV: Computer Proficiency Test/ Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable).

Scheme of Tier – I Examination:
A. General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions, 50 Marks, Time allowed: 1 hour.
B. General Awareness – 25 Questions, 50 Marks, Time allowed: 1 hour.
C. Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Questions, 50 Marks, Time allowed: 1 hour.
D. English Comprehension – 25 Questions, 50 Marks, Time allowed: 1 hour.

Scheme of Tier – II Examination
Paper-I: Quantitative Abilities – 100 Questions, 200 Marks, Time allowed: 2 hours (for each Paper)
Paper-II: English Language and Comprehension – – 100 Questions, 200 Marks, Time allowed: 2 hours (for each Paper)
Paper-III: Statistics – 100 Questions, 200 Marks, Time allowed: 2 hours (for each Paper)
Paper-IV: General Studies (Finance and Economics) – – 100 Questions, 200 Marks, Time allowed: 2 hours (for each Paper)

Scheme of Tier-III Examination:
Mode of Examination – Pen, and Paper mode
Scheme of Examination: Descriptive Paper in English or Hindi
(Writing of Essay/Precis/Letter/Application etc.)
Maximum Marks: 100
Time Allowed: 1 hour
(1 hour and 20 minutes for the candidates who are eligible for scribe as per Para-7.1 and 7.2)

Tier-IV (Skill Test): In the Tier-IV, Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) and Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) will be conducted.
Minimum qualifying marks in Tier-I, each Paper of Tier-II and Tier-III Examination are as follows:
UR Candidates : 30%
OBC/ EWS Candidates: 25%
Others Candidates: 20%
