Exam Pattern: The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject will be as follows: Subject: Mathematics, Duration – 2½ Hours, Maximum Marks – 300 Subject: General Ability Test, Duration – 2½ Hours, Maximum Marks – 600
Total – 900 Marks SSB Test/Interview: Maximum Marks – 900
Syllabus: PAPER-I
Mathematics – (Maximum Marks – 300)
Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of Two and Three dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability.
PAPER-II
General Ability Test – (Maximum Marks – 600)
Part ‘A’— English – (Maximum Marks – 200)
Part ‘B’ – General Knowledge (Maximum Marks—400) – Section ‘A’ (Physics), Section ‘B’ (Chemistry), Section ‘C’ (General Science), Section ‘D’ (History, Freedom Movement etc.), Section ‘E’ (Geography), Section ‘F’ (Current Events),
Intelligence and Personality Test:
The SSB procedure consists of a two-stage Selection process – stage I and stage II. Only those candidates who clear stage I are permitted to appear for stage II.
