Group – IV SCREENING TEST (Objective Type –
Section – A – Subject: General Studies & Mental Ability – Questions:100,Duration Minutes: 100, Maximum Marks: 100
Section – B – General English & General Telugu (25 marks each & SSC Standard) Questions:50,Duration Minutes:50, Maximum Marks:50
Total – 150 Marks.
Group – IV – Main Examination (Objective Type) –
Paper-I – General Studies & Mental Ability – Questions: 150,Duration Minutes: 150, Maximum Marks: 150
Paper-II – General English & General Telugu (75 marks each & SSC Standard) – Questions:150,Duration Minutes: 150, Maximum Marks: 150
Total – 300 Marks.
Negative Marks: As per G.O. Ms. No.235 Finance (HR-I, Plg & Policy) Dept., Dt.06/12/2016, each wrong answer will be penalized with 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question.
2. Medium of question paper will be in English and Telugu languages.
3. Computer Proficiency Test (Qualifying Test) will be held for eligible candidates in the ratio of 1:2 with reference to the total number of vacancies notified.
Scheme of Examination (Practical Type) – Test – Proficiency in Office Automation with the usage of Computers and Associated Software.
Duration (Minutes) – 30
Maximum Marks – 50
Minimum qualifying marks:
SC/ST/PH – 15
B.C’s – 17.5
O.C’s – 20
Syllabus:
The Exam shall comprise the following four parts:
Name of the part:
Part A – Example: Typing a letter/passage/paragraph ( about 100- 150 words ) in MS-Word – 15 Marks.
Part B – Example: Preparation of a Table/Graph in MS-Excel – 10 Marks.
Part C – Example: Preparation of PowerPoint Presentations/Slides (Two) on MS-PowerPoint – 10 Marks
Part D – Example: Creation and manipulation of databases – 10 Marks.
Part E – Example: Displaying the content of E-mail (Inbox). – 05 Marks.
Total – 50 Marks.
