Eastern Railway Act Apprentices Exam Pattern & Selection Process 2022:
1. Selection of a candidate for a training slot of a unit Eastern railway will be the basis of merit prepared in respect of all eligible candidates, who apply against the notification. Merit List (trade/unit/community wise will be prepared on the basis of data /details filled up by candidates in the online application form. If any candidate fills up the wrong details then his/her candidature will be canceled as soon as the discrepancy comes to the notice of the Railway administration.
2. The Select list for Document Verification (DV) will be on the basis of the average of marks in the Matriculation and ITI.
3. For the trades for which class 10th passes the minimum qualification. a separate merit list will be drawn for eligible candidates taking the average of the marks obtained by the candidates in both matriculations (with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks) and the ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
4. For the trades for which class 10th passes the minimum qualification. the merit list would be prepared for all eligible candidates, Including those having qualifications of matriculation and who opt for those trades, based on the average marks obtained both in class 8th standard and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.
