Selection Process & Exam Pattern:
All Questions in HTET Will be Multiple Choice Questions.
Each Questions Will Carry One Mark.
There Shall be No Negative Marking.
Language of Question Paper Will is Bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
The Examination Will be Conducted in Conventional Type (Pen-Paper Based)

For Primary Teacher (PRT) – 
1. Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
2.Language (Hindi 15 MCQs & English 15 MCQs) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
3. General Studies (Quantitative Aptitude 10 MCQs, Reasoning 10 MCQs and Haryana G.K. & Awareness 10 MCQs) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
4.Mathematics – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
5. Environmental Studies – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
Total – 150 Questions – 150 Marks

For Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) –
1.Child Development & pedagogy – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
2.Language (Hindi 15 MCQs & English 15 MCQs) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
3.Reasoning 10 Qs, Quantitative Aptitude 10 Qs, Haryana General Awareness 10 Qs – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
4.Specific Subject 60 Questions – 60 Marks
Total – 150 Questions – 150 Marks.

For Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):
1.Child Development & pedagogy – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
2.Language (Hindi 15 MCQs & English 15 MCQs) – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
3. Reasoning 10 Qs, Quantitative Aptitude 10 Qs, Haryana General Awareness 10 Qs – 30 Questions – 30 Marks
4. Specific Subject 60 Questions – 60 Marks
Total – 150 Questions – 150 Marks.

Qualifying Marks:
For All Categories except Scheduled Castes and Differently abled / Physically Challenged: 60% (90 Marks)
For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled / Physically Challenged of Haryana Domicile: 55% (82 Marks)
For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled / Physically Challenged of Other State: 60% (90 Marks)
