Selection Process:
a. The candidates will be called for a “Written Test” based on the information provided by them Online. The Detailed scrutiny of documents of the candidates shortlisted will be done at the time of the Trade Test.
b. Based on the performance of Written Test & Experience marks the candidates would be called for Trade/Skill Test. The candidates would be called for Trade Test in the ratio of 1:3 in case the vacancies are more than 100, 1: 4 in case the vacancies are between 50 to 100, and 1:5 in case the vacancies are less than 50.
c. The final merit list would be prepared based on combined marks of the Online Written Test, Experience & Trade/Skill Test.
d. However, depending upon the number of candidates who have applied for the above posts, Management may decide to do away with Written tests and select candidates based on Experience & Trade/Skill Tests.
e. The syllabus for Online Exam is given in mentioned in Annexure-I placed at the end of this advertisement.
The marking pattern:
Selection Criteria: Written Test –
Weightage – 30 marks.
Post for which experience in Shipbuilding Industry is not required: 50 marks.
Post for which Written Test is not conducted: —
Selection Criteria: Experience in Shipbuilding Industry
Weightage – 20 marks.
Post for which experience in Shipbuilding Industry is not required: — marks.
Post for which Written Test is not conducted: 20 marks.
Selection Criteria: Trade Test
Weightage – 50 marks.
Post for which experience in Shipbuilding Industry is not required: 50 marks.
Post for which Written Test is not conducted: 80 marks.
Verification of Original Documents:
In case the candidate is called for Trade/Skill Test, he/she has to bring the
downloaded application form and all Original Documents along with one Separate Set of Photo Copy duly Self Attested in the order as mentioned below on the date and the time they are called for Trade Test. Candidates who are not shortlisted for the Trade Test need not send a copy of their Application Form.
