Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) Odisha Judicial Service Exam Civil Judge posts Selection Process, Exam pattern & Syllabus 2021-22

Selection Process:
The Selection will be based on Preliminary Written Examination, Main Written Examination & Interview.

Preliminary Written Examination: The Preliminary Written Examination shall be of one paper carrying 100 marks with a duration of one and half hours of examination with objective type question of multiple-choice (100 Questions of one mark each negative marks of twenty-five percent for every wrong answer allotted to that particular question).

Limitation Act
Transfer of Property Act
Contract Act
law of Succession (Indian Succession Act & Hindu Succession Act)
Specific Relief Act.

Qualifying marks:
SC/ST candidates – 35 per-centum of marks.
Other candidates – 40 per-centum of marks.

Main Examination:
Compulsory Papers-
Paper – 1 – General English – 150 marks
Paper – 2 – Procedural Laws – 150 marks
Optional Papers:
1. Law of Crime & Law of Torts – 150 marks
2. Personal Law – 150 marks
3. Law of Property – 150 marks
4. Law of Contract – 150 marks
Jurisprudence and Constitution pf India – 150 marks

Interview: The interview shall carry 100 (One hundred) marks.
