Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) Weaving Supervisor Posts Selection Process, Exam pattern & Syllabus 2021-22:
The selection will be based on 1. Written Examination and 2. Certificate verification. Candidates numbering three times of the vacancies will be shortlisted in order of merit, category wise based on their performance in the written examination.
Written Examination will comprise of two papers
Name of Examination: Written Examination
Paper-I
Marks Distribution: Each Question carries one mark.
a) English – 15 marks
b) Odia – 15 marks
C) Computer fundamentals – 10 marks
d) General Awarness – 30 marks
e) Mental Ability & Reasoning – 30 marks
Total – 100 Marks
Duration: One and half hours duration
Paper-II
Technical Paper – 100 Marks
Technical Paper Syllabus: Fibre Science
Yarn Manufacturer
Fabric Manufacturer
Textile Chemical Processing
Textile Testing.
Duration: One and half hours duration
Remarks: Examination on both papers will be of Objective Type with multiple choice answers to be done Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode/OMR sheet.
The question paper on English, Odia & mental ability will be of HSC standard. There will be negative marking@ 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in both paper-I & paper-II.
Total – 200 marks.
Candidates who will fail to appear in any stage of examination shall not be allowed to appear in the subsequent stages of examination.
There Shall be no viva-voce test.
