Selection Process:
The procedure for selection of candidates for the post of Analyst, in the Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Government of Punjab will consist of the written examination as per the following details: Written Competitive Examination – 120 Question (each question has 4 marks) – Total Marks – 480 Marks
No interview shall be conducted for the selection of these Posts.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
The pattern for written competitive examination comprising of 120 questions (@ 4 marks for each question) is as follows:
Questions from Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability – 40 Questions – 160 Marks – Type of Question – MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
Questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs of National and International importance. – 80 Questions – 320 Marks – Type of Question – MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) Total – 120 Questions, 480 Marks.
Each question carries 4 (four) marks and, for each correct answer candidate will get 4 (four) marks.
There will be Negative Marking (One Mark for each question) in the written examination for questions wrongly answered i.e. for each incorrect answer, 1 (One) mark will be deducted from the total score.
The test would be of two (02) hours duration.
