Selection Process:

The procedure for the selection of candidates for the post of veterinary officers in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Dairy Development, Government of Punjab will consist of written examination and interview as per the following details –
Written Competitive Examination – 120  Question – 480 Marks
Interview – 60 Marks
Total Marks – 540 Marks.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
The pattern for written competitive examination comprising of 120 questions (@ 4 marks for each question) is as follows:
Questions from the Subject – 100 Questions – 400 Marks – MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
Questions from Logical Reasoning, Mental ability, and General Knowledge – 20 Questions – 80 Marks – MCQs
Total – 120 Questions, 480 Marks.

Each question carries 4 (four) marks and, for each correct answer candidate will get 4 (four) marks.
There will be Negative Marking (One Mark for each question) in the written examination for questions wrongly answered i.e. for each incorrect answer, 1 (One) mark will be deducted from the total score.
The test would be of two (02) hours duration.
